The Amazing Spider-Man- As a big fan of all of Sam Raimi's spidey films, I am very doubtful that this film will be able to better any of them, but i'll see it anyway, due to the presence of Emma Stone (Easy A and The Help are both films I love) and Mark Webb, director of the fantastic '500 Days of Summer'. Verdict: See
Katy Perry: Part of Me- I was a fan of Perry at the beginning of her career, but I feel she has rushed out many songs in the past 2 or 3 years, and the quality of her music has gone downhill. The setlist of this 3D concert film will no doubt feature many of these songs. Verdict: Don't See
Savages- Oliver Stone's new thriller sounds suspiciously like 'Contraband', but has an impressive cast. Verdict: See

Ice Age: Continental Drift- I am one of very few people who thinks that the characters in Ice Age are just as charming and relatable as Woody and Buzz in the Toy Story films. There- I said it. Let the abuse begin! I'm looking forward to seeing this very much, especially due to the addition of pirates. Verdict: See
Ted- The R-rated comedy of the summer for me, personally, and that includes Adam Sandler's new film! Mark Wahlberg is friends with a boozie, druggy teddy bear, voiced by Seth McFarlane, and Mila Kunis is also in the film. Have I really died and gone to comedy heaven? Verdict: See

The Dark Knight Rises- At midnight on July 15th, 2012, a Harry Potter superfan sat at a midnight screening of what turned out to be one of the greatest films EVER MADE, anticipating the final chapter of the series he had grown up adoring- but what was this? Could this possibly be a trailer for a film not released for 371 days? How could any film deserve to be promoted this early? The Dark Knight Rises deserved to be promoted on July 15 2012. Christian Bale- Oscar winner, Anne Hathaway- Oscar nominee, Marion Cotillard-Oscar winner, Gary Oldman- Oscar nominee, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Tom Hardy- two of the most exciting newcomers in Hollywood, Morgan Freeman and Sir Michael Caine- acting legends. Has a film ever been released with a bigger list of reasons why it should be both amazing and a ginormous hit. Step back Avatar, Titanic and HP8, make room for a new #1 movie- it will be DARK, it will be seen by millions of fans at midNIGHT and it will RISE up out of the traditional $350m blockbuster making figure and become a film like none the world has ever seen. Christopher Nolan- I applaud you. Verdict: Oh yeah, after all that, i'm gonna go ahead and tell you that you'd be better off seeing 'Ice Age 4' for the second time. FILM OF THE YEAR
Grassroots- If the person who isn't interested in TDKR is reading this- what's wrong with you, but don't worry, the studios sympathise with you, and have made a fun comedy with Cobie Smulders and Jason Biggs. Verdict: See if TDKR is sold out
July 27
Neighborhood Watch- Hit by a wave of bad publicity due to a tragic murder, this Shaun Levy-produced comedy with an amazing cast looks less likely to be a massive hit than it did a few months ago. Verdict: See
Step Up Revolution- As someone who finds hip-hop dancing about the most boring thing in the world, I have to say that I won't be seeing this fourth installment of one of the many dance movie franchises out there. Verdict: See if you like dancing
